The firm Photons food processing engineers was founded in 1985 at Thanjavur, which is the granary of Tamil Nadu, located in the delta - of fertile river Kaveri. The founders are experienced professionals with plenty of on-hand experience in pre-processing of paddy and other grains such as parboiling, drying, steaming, and raw paddy drying. The founders left their professional government career to pursue their shared belief that modern technologies would revolutionize food processing industry and to pioneer the automation of such manufacturing units via latest technologies.
